Question: We are seeing lot of local configuration mismatches like VLAN IDs , VLAN pools and other local settings on both master and local in Airwave
Environment Information: Airwave running 8.0.x and below version
Symptoms: When we import the master controller configuration first the master config shows as Good but it goes back to mismatch state when we import the local configuration and local become Good. We see device specific local configuration mismatches like VLAN IDs and VLAN pools etc
Cause: Airwave importing the local configuration from controllers
Resolution: We have a new feature called Manage local configuration on controllers from 8.0.2 version. We could find this setting in Groups-Basic page. When we enable this setting Airwave will import the local configuration settings of the devices i.e VLAN id and other local settings along with group settings. if server is in 8.0.2 and above version we could resolve the mismatches by disabling the setting and doing audit and import from APs/Devices-Audit page.
Server which is in lower version needs upgrade to resolve the mismatch.
Note: We need to make sure the setting is disabled in Groups-Basic page to resolve mismatch after upgrade.
