Issue while doing an offline upgrade on Airwave

When we try to do an offline upgrade for Airwave server to 7.7.7, it prompts for support site credentials even though its available under "/root" directory.

 

Environment: Airwave version : 7.7.7

 

 

We come across this issue when we download the upgrade package using Google Chrome(it is a bug on Chrome). The downloaded file will not be in tar.gz format.

Work around :

  • Rename the upgrade package from AMP-7.7.7-x86_64-cvs to AMP-7.7.7-x86_64-cvs.tar.gz
  • Use a different browser to download the file.
