Question: On the RAPIDS > List page, what does Encryption Type refer to?

Encryption Type refers to the method of encryption used by a client associated to a rogue device. This is a new feature supported Aruba AOS 6.

If you have Aruba APs and controllers on a previous version, the value in that column will be Unknown.

NOTE: The value that appears in the Encryption Type column may not have been updated from the last discovery event. If at some point the value was set to something other than Unknown, it will not be reset to Unknown on a subsequent discovery event. In fact, the discovery event where the value was set to something other than Unknown may have aged out and may no longer appear in the discovery detail for the rogue device.
