AMP 4.1 introduced a new SNMP daemon which fetches information from APs. Symbol APs currently do not work with this daemon. The enclosed patch (symbol4131.patch) will allow AMP to use the previous SNMP daemon. Please copy the patch to the /tmp directory of your AMP. We recommend using WinSCP. To apply the patch ssh into AMP (using putty) and follow the steps below. Please note that # represents the command prompt and does not need to be entered.A. Navigate to the AMP codes root directory (/root/cvs/mercury/mercury) # root B. Apply the patch to the saved AMP code. # patch -p0 < /tmp/symbol4131.patchC.
