Timeline on AIrwave graphs/charts does not match with System time

Problem:

The system time on Airwave is in PST 

 

From CLI -

 

 [root@Aruba-Airwave mercury]# date
Tue Mar  7 09:46:09 PST 2017

 

From UI-

 

However the time in graphs/charts is incorrect.

 

 

 

 



Diagnostics:

There is a new feature on Airwave 8.2 to set time zone of the graphs/charts to UTC or to system time.

 

This configuration option is available under AMP Setup - General page.

 

 

If the option is set to Browser Local, it will take the browser time, else it will take UTC time zone



Solution

This is a global configuration which will impact all users which have enabled  below in the Home - User Info  Tab.

 

 

if a user wants to over ride the system defaults, UTC or browser local time can also be selected.
