AirWave 7.7 + AOS 6.2.1.3 (7240 Controller) | No info on airwave firewall tab - please advise.

    Hi Guys,

    Good morning.

     

    I'm looking for a reason , why i dont have any information on the firewall tab in the new airwave 7.7.

    i'am testing it in front of Aruba 7240 with AOS 6.2.1.3 , SNMP configure right,user/pass+enable configured right - and all other information is been collected by the Airwave excpet the firewall TAB.

     

    WHY?

    you've probably already done this, but did you enable firewall-visibility on the controller?

    Yes..(as u said.I already did it) on the controller it's already configured.

     

    But I would like to see the information and collect it with AW 7.7

    Hi,

     

    Already did it... (after reading your great post earlier) ...but still no info under airwave   :smileyhappy:.... (and there is no Firewall  between the controller to the Airwave at all)

    You sure  it's working with AOS 6.2.1.3?

    type "show configuration | include firewall-visibility" just to make sure.

     

    Also type "show mgmt-server message-counters" to see if anything is being sent.

    That debug was only for 6.3, I apologize.

     

    Amon does not send firewall visibility to Airwave in 6.2, unfortunately.

    Correct. Firewall visibility gains the ability to send the info over amon in 6.3. Sorry about that.

    I had a similar problem with Airwave 7.7 and ArubaOS 6.3.

    It was solved by turning on audit on the groups that contained AP and Controllers

    Yes. I know i already passed on your old post.
    But 6.2.1.3 isnt support this feature... In front of AW7.7 so its a diffrent issue.
