    Hi,

I have a spreadsheet in .csv with locations for APs that are managed by AMP but have no location information available.

Is there a way to load/import this into AMP to update this field for almost every AP ?

Not sure if this is possible or there is another way we could possibly try XML, CLI , SQL ... ?

    Thanks,

    DSP

I am not aware of how to do that via CSV update, but if you provision an Aruba AP using the controller, the "SNMP System Location" attribute on the controller is imported by Airwave:

Thanks for your reply C Joseph,

Reprovisioning the AP would be an option.

What I was hoping is to see if theres a way, via XML, SQL, or uploading .CSV to automatize this process as much as possible and if someone has tried it before ...

    Regards,

I would challenge you even further:

Come up with an AP naming scheme that lets everyone know exactly where an AP is so that they don't have to consult an additional field.
