Can someone please tell me more about AirWave Master Console?

Any document? We have one Airwave server and it needs to be replaced. We would like to have

redundency. Any sugestions for selecting proper Airwave servers/AirWave Master Console?

    Is AirWave Master Console necessary?

    Many thanks!

AirWave Master Console is not what you're looking for if you're looking for redundancy.  You'll probably more interested in AirWave Failover.

AirWave Master Console is more for monitoring multiple AirWave servers to get some consolidated reporting.  So if you were to have 4 AirWave servers monitoring: North, East, South, West campuses, you could get a complete report on all campuses from the Master Console instead of running individual reports and manually extrapolating.  Master Console also has capability for you to create config so that all campuses have unified config.  Depending on the sizing of your setup, you may be waiting for the AirWave Multibox platform instead of having several individual AirWave servers.  Talk to a sales rep to get more info since the Master Console is now considered a bandage for customers who ultimately are looking forward to Multibox.

    Thank you, Rob!

May you please provide me  Airwave Failover document? Do you know when the Multibox Platform will be abailable?

In the 8.0 user guide, look for section 'Using AirWave Failover for Backup'

    Link to guide: (https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=14103)

Failover should be sized the same as the largest monitored AirWave server, in order to effectively handle the load the production server was monitoring.

The main aspect of Multibox that will slowly edge out Master Console is the ability to see all network devices from a single UI, and drilling down into details within the same UI.  Multibox is undergoing a slow roll out.  The customer target for Multibox is 20k+ network infrastructure devices (switches/controllers/APs).  The hardware setup for Multibox is undergoing review (minimum 5 better than AMP Enterprise servers with at least 2 on SSD drives).  Does this apply to your setup?  If so, your sales rep can get further details to share about multibox.
