Airwave 7.7.3 Tracking down a User by IP address

Hello,

I am very inexperienced with Airwave and I am trying to find a user based on an IP address. We had an incident Yesterday and the only information we have to go on was the IP address. I assume with an IP address there is a way to view historical data i.e Yesterday's information to find out which computer in our enviornment was assigned that IP.

Thanks for the Help.

You can use the seach capability within AirWave to show this  (search box in the top right; make sure it is searching  historical data).   The following shows a search for an IP.  In this case, 2 clients have had this IP.   One active (me) and another one from last week.   The association time/duration columns should help you track the device down.

That was simple. If I only would have just clicked the down arrow I would have seen those options!

Thanks for your response! (Albeit I feel a little dumb, but that's okay, we all start somewhere)
