Airwave 8.2.6 SFTP

I'd like to offload my Amp backup files. I've read here how to do it through the CLI menu and I've configured this but am not seeing any backups on my SFTP server. My question is when will the off site backups run (I don't see anywhere to configure this) and more importantly does the server have to be SCP or can I use SFTP?

Re: Airwave 8.2.6 SFTP

Hi ,

Have you configured automatic backup transfer file using below options

  1  Backup Now
  2  Configure Automatic Transfer
  3  Local Backup Retention
  b  >> Back
Your choice:

Default every morning default 4:15am airwave runs nightly backup. We can check the time set in AMP Setup > General page.

If my post address your queries, give kudos and accept as solution!

Yes I've configured that backup via CLI as shown here:

Current Backup Destination: XXX.XXX.7.28
1 Set Destination
2 Clear Destination
c >> Cancel

I did look at AMP Setup/General and it is set to run daily at 04:15. Can it be an SFTP server or does it have to be SCP?

Re: Airwave 8.2.6 SFTP

It's currently SCP only.  SFTP is a feature currently being worked on - if it gets completed in time, it will be added in otherwise it'll go into 8.2.7.
