Can anybody tell me why the current server sizing guides don't have any of the detail that was contained in the 7.x server sizing guides.
For example, RAM / storage sizing for small deployments (i.e. less than the tested appliance)

The 7.x server sizing guidelines should give you reasonable guidance for 8.x as well... as memory and disk is becoming cheap, try to avoid sizing 'on the edge' and put additional resources in where available. ASE should be pretty safe in its recommendation.
