    Dear Team,

We are a customer of Aruba and having airwave in one of our location which manages IAP devices at multiple locations. Today we got a notification email that the subscriptions are getting expired. Hope the evaluation licenses are for 90 days trial available during installation. Do we need to renew the Evaluation Licenses. Also we are having only Airwav at site but  we got the mail mentioning Dear Aruba Central Customer. The customer id as well as the details are attached below.

We are having Airwave installed with 15 IAP device licenses which is having lifelong as expiry. Please clarify that do we need to renew the licenses or not ?

    Dear Team,

We are still awaiting for your response as its urgent. Please help us to know whether we need to renew the subscription licenses as we are already having 15 IAP device license installed over airwave with no expiry in order to monitor the 15 devices.

    Hi Jito,

IAP's can either me managed by Airwave or Central but not both at the same time.

Did someone in your team create an Central eval account for testing purposes ?

By default when you register for Central account, there are 10 eval licenses provided for period of 90 days. The message you are seeeing is related to those subscriptions

If none of your IAP is associated/added to Central, you do not have to worry about renewing the susbcription key used on Central.

The mail you received in unrelated to Airwave. It is warning that a Central subscription (which seems to be an eval as that has 10 devices, for 90 days) is about to expire. Probably someone requested that evaluation. If you are sure that you don't use Aruba Central, but Airwave, you can ignore that message.

It may make sense to count back 90 days before July 28th (which is I believe somewhere last days of April or first days of May), and see if you can find who may have requested the Central evaluation.

As a double check, validate in Airwave that you do have those 15 licenses and they are permanent. In that case, at least Airwave will continue to run after July 28th.
