Airwave - False Alert

    Hi,

     

    First of all, I am happy to join in this community :) .

     

    I had made trigger email alert in Airwave, I am receiving frequent false email alert as AP is down but when i check the Controller... AP is Up.

     

    Friends.. excepting your prompt help on this issue.

    Hi,

     

    I see this all the time.  Firstly I would suggest increasing the 'missed snmp poll threshold' within the settings for that group.

     

    I've also setup the alert to only send when the device is down for 10 mins so avoid alerts for reboots or intermittant network issues.

     

    Add a second condition for 'minutes down threshold' to greater than 10 (or whatever is appropriate for you), as below.

     

    AP down trigger

    Can able to set trigger alert specially for the Down AP which comes UP?

    That depends really.  Normall I set to 2 though.

     

    I've not configured the 'up' alert before, but that looks reasonable.
