Hi all, I have an Airwave 8.0.1 server, trying to import the group config from my controller (6.3.1.4).  Ultimately I want this to become a "gold image" that I will use to deploy multiple controllers in read/write mode, but for now it is monitor only.

The controller shows up as "mismatched", the mismatched settings being "Management Local User hashed password" for a couple of local admin users.

Airwave sees the hash from the controller, but if I try to import the settings Airwave just gives the message "There are no changes to be applied <Return>"

Is there any way I can import this config?

    Martin,

I assume you're talking about something like this?

    AMP Mismatch

If so, Airwave cannot reverse engineer the hash of the configuration so it requires that you plug in the password information into the group configuration. This isn't required for the user that AMP uses to communicate with the Controller since you had to enter in that password as part of the import process. To resolve it, you need to go here:

    Local Authentication

Then click on the pencil for the user in question and fill in its password.

    User Password
