Aruba controller manually added to Airwave (8.0.7) with SNMPv3 user credentials.  Group is confirmed configured for SNMPv3.  Controller (6.1 code) configured with matching SNMPv3 user credentials.  The controller never comes up in Airwave.  When the controller is selected to Manage, under the Device Communnication section, it displays: This device is currently using SNMP version 2c.

I'm in the same boat, (see my thread on the same subject)

I've got a TAC case open. If I learn anything I'll update my thread.

Resolution was to restart the AP Watcher and SNMP Fetcher processes on Airwave.

Killing processes isn't for the faint of heart, so you may just want to restart Airwave (or reboot) as a test.

I was setting up a new instace of AMP and new controllers, did hours of Tshooting and rebooting AMP helped. This should be marked as a solution.
