Hello i was wondering if with the Role i can define the group visilibity?

I dont seen to find  how i can configure this for example

    visible groups.PNG

If i go to the edit button i cannot see   or where to config if i want a group of user just see one group of APS

    For example

I got 3 countries and i would like that EACH country just can manage and see their respective folder AND group or groups

I can do it for the folder part but on the group part i fail to know how to do it... as you see on my image there is a column of visible groups and i cannot control what the user can see or not with their role.

Is there any way to do it?

    Cheers

    Carlos

The roles are by folder.  So if each country group has devices in corresponding folders, then it would match up like so:

    Folders:

      Top

        US

          state1

          state 2

        EMEA

          country 1

          country 2

        APAC

          country 1

          country 2

Corresponding devices are in groups: APAC, EMEA, US

Then you give visibility by folders US / EMEA / APAC to the user.  They can reorganize to have more subfolders to split controllers from APs, buildings, etc.

    hello Rob!

The folder visibility is not the issue

The issue is that they all can see Access point Group

As you see in my screenshot they all can see the Access point Group why? how do i prevent from that happening?
or did i missunderstand your explanation?

    Cheers

Screenshot didn't cone through for me. But if 'access points' group is empty, then it'd be visible to all roles. This applies to all empty groups. The workaround is to add a non existent device that no user besides admin has access to see.
