I have hundreds of APs in the top folder that I need to move into their respective sub-folder.

Is there a script available to do this in bulk?

How many are you moving at a time into sub-folders?
if you log into the CLI of Airwave, type "scripts" then ls -al, take a look at the scripts there and see if something exists. If not, then you will probably have to go to your TOP folder -> expanded to see all of your devices, then click on modify devices, select the ones you want then select your folder.

Each folder which is a site has 2-4 aps.  I have 700 or so to go.

I had a look in the scripts and unless I'm mistaken there is nothing specifically for moving an existing ap into a different folder.

So you have folders with APs within the TOP folder?
You need to move the APs from that folder to another folder?

    yes and yes.

I'm getting through them but given that the folders have on average only 3 aps, it is a slow and laborious process.

ok, Airwave allows you to move folders (with devices in it) to another folder
    So let's say you have
    Top -> Folder_a
you want to move Folder_a to Top -> Client_A -> Folder_A, you can do this.
It's not intuitive but if you click on Aps/Devices -> Up
Expand all, scroll to the bottom, edit Folder_a (using pencil), then move it under the appropriate folder....

I don't want to move a folder itself.  Besides I can't see any pencil.

Was hoping there was a script to move the devices so that the csv would be in the format.

    ap_name,existing_folder,new_folder

I guess I just have to keep clicking away. :-(

I don't need it now, but I'm sure would be useful for the future.
