    Hi,

I'm trying to use Batch Floor Upload Wizard but get an error.

I think validation is Ok (see Validation.jpg), but ca.30 seconds after this message comes another one (see Error.jpg) that says "DWG to JPEG conversion failed". What can be the reason?

    Hi,

Are you trying to upload the floor plans in batch from VisualRF planner or Airwave VisualRF.

How many floor plans you are trying to upload in batch? Is it CAD file?

May I know VisualRF planner/ Airwave version the one which you are using?

    Regards,

    Pavan

I'm new to this, so I'm not realy sure but think that I'm uploading from AirWave (8.2.3.1) VisualRF (see Screenshot #1.jpg).
I tried with first with one floorplan and then with two, but always get an error. For Batch Upload I use .dwg files that are zipped together with .xml file, like it says I should do in user manual.
I also tried adding floorplans through Floor Plans - New Floorpan (see Screenshot #2.jpg) with .pdf file everything is allrigth, but nothing happens whaen I'm trying to add .dwg file.

    Hi ,

When you upload single .dwg floor plan from Floor Plans - New Floorpan what error its prompting?

May I know from which AutoCAD version dwg file which are trying is generated?

Could youopen the file in a text editor and let me know what   first six characters you see.

In my lab file, its shows AC1021   this is the verison string for the dwg file and denotes an autocad version.

    Regards,

    Pavan

When I upload single .dwg file if I click on the web-page right after comes up an error message (see Error.jpg), if Iwait a minute then just nothing happens.

I tried uploading .dwg files generated in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the same one saved as 2004 version.

2004 version has AC1032 in the begining and Civil 3d has AC1018.

But I'm more interested in Batch Upload. Do I understand it correctly, that with Batch Upload it is possible to upload dimensions, device coordinates, wall coordinates and building material?

    Hi,

Error is not related to dwg file, it looks apache is trying to connect to port 80 but since no services running conneciton is getting refused.

    Could you follow below steps

    1. Disable VisualRF engine from VisualRF Setup page
    2. Remove visualrf_bootstrap file from /var/airwave/cache
    3. #rm -rf /var/airwave/cache/visualrf_bootstrap
    4. Enable VisualRF engine

Wait for few minutes for visualrf to load and try again. Try upload file, if you have any issues uploading AC1036 file try get it in AC1024/1021/1018 format.

When you upload cad file ,visualrf automatically detects the layers/ dimenssions, where we could choose proper attunations (walls type) from drop down list.

    Regards,

    Pavan

Can you please describe in little more detail how do I remove visualrf_bootstrap file? Doubt it is done from command line :)
And what versions of AutoCad have AC1024/1021/1018 format?

Yes, we need to remove the file from command line.
