Network Management

Within the last two days, one of my clusters is saying that the configuration is Verifying. I have not changed anything to cause this. I have rebooted the AP's and the VC and its still stuck. i do not have any pending changes that wouldve caused this. Any ideas?

Generally: check device audit logs.  If nothing in the audit logs, try the error log to see if maybe there's an empty value causing a crash.

What version of AirWave, IAP model, and IAP firmware do you have running?  Are IAPs managed template based of by Instant GUI Config?  If IGC, check IGC logs as well.

and yes they are configured using the instant config.

had to make a change to another one of my vc's at a different location. it to is now stuck in verifying. so i looked at the /var/log/config_pusher file and its not pushing the configs. how can i force the push from AirWave?

1. Go to VC monitor page to check if this VC has in-process/failed firmware or DRT(8.2.6.1) upgrade job? if yes, please make sure remove the job and try again. 

2. Check VC > Alerts & Events > Recent AMP Device Events will provide some useful infomation.

3. Check AMP Setup > Permanace > Maximun number of config process and maximun number of audit process, if value is too low, please set them both to 20.

i rebooted the AMP and that fixed the issue. also worked with support last night and they stated that for 200 access points and 500+ connections, that 8 GB of RAM was to low. the swap RAM was at 4GB. so we increased the VM's RAM to 20GB.

This is what was going on at first, as you can see the usage was strange
