Downgrade from AOS 6.5.00 to AOS 6.4.3.7

    We just got hold of an Aruba 7008 with 6.5.0.0 code. We need to downgrade it to ArubaOS_70xx_6.4.3.7 for a few select sites. What is the correct process for this. On my first try I got the following error message;

    "Error upgrading image: FAILED : This controller cannot upgrade to this version, try a newer version for AOS."

    AFAIK the 7008 is a new controller and requires 6.5.0.0 and above..

    Thanks for your quick reply. So even if I intentionally remove the AOS from partition 1 I would still not be able to upload 6.4? This is a test unit and we just need to fully assess how we can utilize it for our smaller sites. We are trying to avoid making these smaller sites local masters as not all sites are currently running 6.5 code as yet.

    I have never tried that.  Maybe because I want my equipment to work ;)
