We've recently completed Aruba migrations at several large facilities that had previously suffered through poorly-executed Cisco networks. I've heard unconfirmed rumors that the desktop support group was recommending that users purchase and install cheapo "WiFi Range Extenders" to address perceived coverage gaps. Now that we have a shiny-new, professionally surveyed and installed networks in place, I want to root out and eradicate any extenders that may be in the environment, but I'm not sure how to locate them. I assume these devices must spoof the source radio MAC address and if that's the case, is there an attack I should be looking for in RAPIDS? How would these devices look to Airmagnet WiFi Analyzer?
