Multiple IP addresses / interfaces on AMP Server (Airwave)

Hi,

Is it possible to have multiple IP addresses / interfaces configured on an AMP server, thus alowing direct access into two networks?

Any info appreciated

Thanks

In a word, yes, but it increases complexity.

For each host that AMP needs to commmunicate with, you would have to configure routing on the AMP to make sure traffic is returned on the correct interface.  You should contact TAC with a network diagram to ensure you are doing the right thing.

Re: Multiple IP addresses / interfaces on AMP Server (Airwave)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, we have added the second interface, I see what you mean about the routing, we will use the default gateway on one interface to get to the internet, then manually add the internal subnets as static routes to the other interface.

Jobs a goodun!

Cheers
