dumb question / airwave upgrade

    Looking to upgrade our install of airwave from 7.7.8 to 7.7.10.

     

    When I kick off this upgrade it will NOT impact wireless services correct?  Airwave is configured just for monitoring not config at this point.

    It should not impact your wireless connection since you are only monitoring your devices.

    Have you configured WMS offload?

     

    Even if you have, don't expect any noticable outage, just be aware that that function will be on hold while you upgrade. I've been through many upgrades with no impact -- monitoring with software upgrade and WMS offload.

    Offload WMS database is not enabled. 

     

    Out of curiosity what does that do?

    I can copy and paste it from the help in Airwave, but if you just search  the help in Airwave for WMS Offload, there is a section explaining it.
