So I can use voice vlans with a Polycom CX600, but I have run into an issue.
With 802.1x, its statics your mac in the switch. It is then removed when the port goes down. On the Polycom, it never notifys the switch that its PC port has gone down. I have verified with a cisco voip phone that it behaves as I expect and removes the static mac entry from the port.
Has anyone else seen this issue and possibly have a work around?
The issue this creates for us is that the user cannot move into another cubical/conference room unless the phone is rebooted to remove the static entry.
