We are pleased to announce the availability of Amigopod 3.5 Deployment Guide.

It is available on the Aruba support site for partner or customers to use

We have also published a new VRD for ArubaOS and Amigopod integration which will be of great benefit to SEs, partners and customers.

    Happy deployments!

Following on from Carlos' post regarding the new ArubaOS and Amigopod Integration Application Note, this version now includes a discussion around sample Welcome and Logout pages that can be hosted on the Amigopod platform. These pages allow the customer to have a completely customized user experience from the branded Web Login page through to a post login Welcome Page and if required a branded out Logout page.

This bypasses the use of the ArubaOS controller hosted pop-up logout box that many of you would be familiar with and have potentially seen blocked by modern web browsers.

To help our customers and partners experiment with these sample pages referenced in the Application Note, we have made a backup of these pages available for download from this post (unzip the zip before attempting to restore)

You can simply restore this Amigopod backup file to your local deployment and test these sample pages in your environment and leverage the Amigopod skin technology to apply your branding to these pages.

As always it is good practice to make a backup of your Amigopod configuration before experimenting or changing any of your production settings.

Amigopod 3.5 is a pretty old release now.  I don't believe Onboard was even supported back then.  MDPS was introduced in Amigopod 3.7 IIRC and the term "Onboard" was coined in 3.9.

Check out the Deployment Guides at the ClearPass Guest Documentation folder on the support site.  There are sections in the v3.9, v6.0, and v6.1 Deployment Guides dedicated to configuring Onboard.
