    Hey,

     

    CPPM Ver: 6.4.2.30915

     

    I am have been playing around with our guest portal trying to make a little more user friendly. I was experimenting with the option "Auto-send guest receipts by email with a special field set".

     

    I was testing the functionality with a checkbox with the default field "auto_send_smtp".

    I had it working. But since upgrading to the latest version of CPPM it appears to have stopped working with a checkbox.

     

    I have also tested with a radio button and am in the process of testing with a textbox.

     

    I tried changing the Guest Self-Registration settings to "Always auto-send guest receipts by email" and this worked. I was able to receive the receipt on the personal email address I was using to do my tests.

     

    Just curious if some functionality changed in the latest version of CPPM? Or is there maybe a recommended way of using this functionality?

    Have you tried it like below?  (The rank may differ on your setup).

     

    6.3.1 changed how that field is evaluated.  Please try the one below.

    Hey,

     

    I just tried changing to the settings you have. Although I used the field name "auto_send_smtp". I see the option though for "auto_send_sms", should I be using that even though I want to send an email?

     

    At any rate, testing with the settings shown in your screenshot (but with auto_send_smtp), I am still not receiving the email.

    It looks like the field is defaulted to the values you have in your screenshot.

    I didn't modify the values shown in my screenshot.

    On a side note I tried the option "Display a link enabling a guest receipt via email".

    Once I authorized the account  (sponsored) I received the link and by clicking this link I received the email to my personal email account.

    If you have the field on the right form it should work. Please have TAC take a look.
