BYOD Setup using Clearpass Policy Manager

     We have Clearpass Policy Manager and windows clients from XP to 8. We have a DC connected to branches by MPLS Network. We want to deploy BYOD setup in such a way that Domain Members (Corp Assets) shoud have access to all resources in DC. BYOD (Identified Non Corp Assets) should have access to specific resources only. And unknown systems should not have access to any resources. We dont want to go 802.1x way as many our branches do not have 802 have.1x compatible switches. Hence we need to have something at software level.

     

    Can Clearpass work with Microsoft clients with NAP fuctionality for network enforcement?

    Unfortunately 802.1x authentication is central to Microsoft NAP functionality so what you want to accomplish is probably not possible without it.
