CPPM CSR

    Hi,

     

    I am going to be changing the certificate on my CPPM's.

    We have a cluster of 3 CPPM's.

    I use the same commercial CA for both the RADIUS and HTTP.

     

    At the same time that I am changing the certificate I am also changing the CN name.

     

    If I generate a new CSR to get the certificate created with our CA, will that affect the functionality of the CPPM immediately? Or will it continue to use the existing certificate until I upload the new one?

    Are there any other things I should watch out for?

     

    List of things to check

    • GPO that is pushing out the wireless and wired profiles.
    • Custom portal pages. I may have hardcoded links.
    • Captive Portal redirect URL on our controllers.

    A CSR is just a request. There is no actual certificate yet. When you upload
    the signed certificate and key, it will take affect.
