    Hi,

     

    With Clearpass, if you want to use the Captive Portal, but only to require users to accept Terms and Conditions (no authentication involved) – does this consume any ClearPass licences (Just CPPM or CPPM and CP Guest)?

     

    If you want to also gather per-user information (maybe their email and/or mobile number) – what effect does this have on licensing (because you are then starting to store per-user info)?

    Click through consumes just a CPPM license.

    Registration (capturing data) uses both a Guest (or enterprise) and base CPPM license.

    I was under the impression that a single click accept page would still use a guest licence.

     

    That page is still essentially using the Clearpass Guest service.

     

    Easy enough to test though and see if it consumes a licence.
