I need some help in figuring out if displaying a custom error message when an AD user attempting to authenticate has a expired password, instead of the default authentication failed message, is possible. The authentication at this point goes directly to LDAP from Aruba.
Has anyone done this type of customization before? If so how?

This is not possible, because the Aruba controller, either via ldap or radius, never receives a message that says "password needs to be changed". It is always either a reject or pass, or... nothing of the server does not respond.

Thank you Colin, I was hoping for a different answer but I guess it is what it is. Do you think its not possible at all, either via an external CP or Amigopod/ClearPass?
