    but what about about all the new corp devices that comes with windows mobile os ? 

    Does not Aruba want to cover that ?

    Windows Corporate devices can connect to an Aruba WLAN, just like other devices.  Microsoft does not publish APIs to automatically distribute keys and credentials to those devices, so they cannot be onboarded in an automated fashion.

    We've just checked the latest build of clearpass (6.5.x) which is now available, and there still seems to be a significant gap with Windows Phone support for OnBoard.

    Is this something that will be released soon?

    Unfortunatly the issue relates to lack of API with the Phone OS.

     

    In the short term 6.5 supports “web based enrollment”, ie generating a certificate in the browser that the user can manually install. The work flow for that is obviously not ideal for non-technical users. We hopeful that with WIN10 we will have a more fluid/structured solution.

    That makes a lot of sense - I think there are a lot of hopes pinned on Win10 from customer, partners and Microsoft as well. Let's hope it resolves these issues.

     

    I've not found much about the "web based enrollment" as all previous requirements have been handled by the Onboard system/agents - is this SCEP, or is this new to 6.5?

    Until now, clearpass supports for Windows phone 10? I need the confirm or timeline to decide to invest Aruba Clearpass in this year?

    Windows Phone 10 is not released. Any OS can be supported through web enrollment.
