Hi AirHeads
I would like to know if it possiable to:
increase disk size on working vm - ClearPass Policy Manager 6.4.0.66263?
If not - what are my workarounds?
Please advise,
Thanks in advance,

Just to deploy new machince and then to - Restore via the gui?
Correct.
I would make sure you backup everything along with your certs. You will need to open a TAC case and have the Lic activated on the new server.
OK...Cant i just create another Harddrive, and just boot the CPPM ? and it will use it as storage?
Cant i stop the machince and increse the size of 0:2?
cant i boot from 0:1 , then increse the size of 0:2 and boot to 0:2?
No,
As of 6.3 CPPM will pattition the drive in half. It no longer uses the total of 3 drives. It only used the default 20gb and the required 500gb or 1TB.
That is why you need to make sure you deploy the whole HD space when you setup a new CPPM VM.
today i have 0:0 = 20 0:1 = 20 and 0:2 = 20, i dont want to do this all new machince process (because it's a runnning enviroment)
what if i will download,ClearPass 6.4.0 Upgrade Image, and before start the process i will create 0:3 with 500 - it will make the trick?
What if i will boot to 0:1. (the old 6.2)
i will delete the 0:2 (the one with the new 6.4)
and then to the upgrade process agian (this time will 0:2 = 500gb)
it will make the trick?
If you are moving from 6.2 you would be able to, but if you are already on 6.3 you will not be able to.
Please look at the latest VM deployment Guide.
I would also work with TAC while doing it. Im not sure off the top of my head if you can role back to 6.2 if you went to 6.3 then to 6.4.
Just to be clear: If I happened to find myself in the position of:
Purchased and deployed new 6.4 CPPM VMs in Dec '14 with published disk req's of 500GB...
I have to rebuild servers entirely (export/import) to upgrade to 6.5 to meet 1TB disk requirement?
