If i have to delploy a ClearPass with this objectives:  2000 devices that need to be onboarded, 2000 corporate devices running posture checks daily, and 500 different guest users each day authenticating using the web login feature. Which CP model should i use?

CP-HW-5k or CP-HW-25k??? I think 5k because i only going to use 4500 enterprise licenses. What do you think??

For what you are looking to do now you can run two 5K boxes for redundancy with 4.5k/5k enterprise

Keep in mind that in the case of failover scenario you won’t have much room for growth

The number is reset daily and then averaged across 30 days. The number of guest licenses required = number of devices authenticating with a guest account daily.

    Hello Tim, Victor

For policy manager it isnt mac address per week

For example if i got 500 differente mac address per day on guest that wouldnt be 3500 mac address per week  which i need to have on my policy manager? i mean in this case plus 2000 onboard that wouldnt be 5500 mac addreses that goes over 5000 ?

    OR

The policy manager license is calculed per day? and it calculate the average of one week.

I mean that even if its 500 different mac addresesper day at the end of the week it will be still 500 for policy manager as it just calculate the average per day in a week.

    Cheers

    Carlos
