    Hi all,

     

    I'm looking for an option to permit a maximum # of authentication for guests on a captive portal. Ideally it would then blacklist the user after X missed time and send an email.

    Any idea on how to achieve this ? Can't find options for max re-auth and also not sure about how to trigger an email for it.

    You'd need ClearPass.

    So if a user fails auth a certain number of times, you want to blacklist them?

    exactly, say a user fails 5 times within 1hour or 15min, he is blacklisted and an email is sent to a specific e-mail address.
