    Hi:

    I've got my Clearpass Guest working so that a user is directed to a captive portal to enter their name, email address, and tel #. When they click the 'Register' button, they receive an email and an SMS with their username and password.
    So far, so good.

    However, when they click 'Register' that first time, they are immediately given network access. I would like them to be redirected to the login page and enter their shiny, new credentials. Is there a setting for this that I have missed?

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Tony,

    I know the question has been answered a couple time on the forum, but I'm traveling at the moment so I won't be able to shoot you an answer unless one of the other guys can find it.

    You need to disable the auto login in the forms and have the redirect go to the login page.

    Hi Troy:

    I've poked around, but can't seem to find this setting.

    Does anyone else have this info?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hi Troy:

    That thred lists one solution: to disable the 'Login' button.

    Is it possible to have the login button redirect the user to the login page, where they have to enter their username and password?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    You can't change the action of that button since it's a post. What you can do is remove the login button and in the footer of the receipt page add your own button to redirect to that page.

    <p>
    Please click here to login with a guest account.
    </p>
    <a <form><input type="button" value="Login with a Guest Account" onClick="window.location.href='guest_register_login.php?'"></form></a>

    Hi Troy:

    Great, thanks.

    That did the trick.

    I removed the password field and the button, and inserted your code in the footer.

    Now users need to check their phone to login.

    Thanks again for the help!
