Clearpass and AD domain

    Hi All!

     

    I'm trying to figure out why I might need to add Clearpass server to AD domain if I had already set up authorization source with it. Does anybody know the benefits of joining the domain or limits of using only auth source?

     

    I'm going to use 802.1X authorization within a corporate network.

    Domain join is only required if you're using legacy EAP methods like PEAPv0/MSCHAPv2.
