Clearpass clustering L3 vs L2

Hello,

Are there limitations of configuring a clearpass cluster over a L3 network versus L2 network?

Kind regards,

L2 allows for a virtual IP that can be used for a highly available guest
URL. L3 would require a load balancer to provide the same functionality.

And this is the only limitation? Because I was thinking the same. The thing is our customer wants to do this L3 with indeed the Loadbalancer for the guest functionality, but I want to be sure there are no other features that will give some issues?
