Clearpass guest authentication failed

    Dear Support,

     

    Clearpass is setup with controller controller 3200. 

     

    Getting error. Guest authentication failed ?

     

    Need your immediated assistance.

    Please remember that this is a community ran forum not support. We will try to help out but if it's an immediate issue then you should con TAC.

    We will need a lot more information before anyone can help.

    What error
    Is the error on access tracker. If it is post the error and how your services are con figured.

    Post how your controller is set up.

    Version of controller
    Version of CPPM.
    What type of guest page.
    Etc

    I am a new user on CPPM platform.

    Controller Version 6.3.18

    CPPM version CPPM-VM-x86_64-6.4.0.66263-ESX-80G-CP-SW-EVAL-ovf

    You need to add the guest user repository to the authentication source in the services

    You need to add pap authentication to the auth type.

    When creating a guest service it should not use the same service as you secure ssid.

    You can use the start here and use guest with Mac authententication. It will creat two services and the will have a filter based on the ssid you are connecting to.

    You can also use the following link and it will creat the controller config and services you can import into CPPM
