    I know that i have to purchase on guard,on boardand guest lic if I go for software version of clearpass which can be installed on VM Ware...

     

    But if i go for hardware appliance of clearpass like CP-HW-5k or CP-HW-25K... even then should i buy onboard,onguard and guesr lic...

    Yes. You will still need to add feature lic if you buy either hardware or VM. Oboard, onguard and guest.

    The core lic .1x, profiling, MDM Integration, etc are all included.
