Clearpass onboard licensing query

    We are awaiting a new key for some additional licensing, but just wondered what actually happens when you hit th elimit, do you get any "grace" licensing or does it just stop onboarding clients?

    Onboard is the only part of ClearPass with a hard cap. If you have 1k licenses, certificate 1001 will not be issued.

    We've used 1030 out of 1000!  Shhh. dont tell anyone...

    It's likely using the built in enterprise licenses.

    We've used 50 out of 50 of them!

    so if you have two boxes and 1000 OnBoard licenses you then have 1050 in total, [1000 + (2 x 25 free-enterpeise)] licenses and you have 20 left if you have issued 1030.
