Clearpass upgrade 6.4 to 6.6 In virtual appliance

I would like to know the steps for this upgrade.

I see that on the release note  you need  as a requirement 1 TB of HD

Right now the client has a clearpass on VMWARE and he is using a 500GB HD

I bealive there is a tool to expand of the actual virtual hard drive on VMWARE but if i use that do i need to do something on the Clearpass so he detects that he has a bigger Hard drive?

Or i need to add a NEW HD of 1 TB? thats the part im confused...

Can someone enlight me on the part of VMWare wht must be done step by step?

Cheers

Carlos

Re: Clearpass upgrade 6.4 to 6.6 In virtual appliance

You must add a new drive to the VM and as part of the upgrade, CPPM will be installed on the new disk and corresponding DB + data is copied over.

We do not support in CPPM expanding the underlying disk.
