Why was the delete device option removed from onboard self-service portal? It's kind of a bummer if you have restricted the number of devices the users can onboard since it creates the need for the end-users to contact helpdesk if they change phone/tablet.

Looks like its a bug. I believe there is a fix in 6.5 and up coming patch
