I have an evaluation of ClearPass and would like to start over completely. What is the recommended method for deleting/wiping/erasing the server entirely?

I would login to the publisher using the appadmin account, then execute:

    cluster reset-database

Its on VMware so just delete the vm and create a new one.

That's what I have done at least.

    jsolb,

That is a good idea as well.

Probably the only benefit of the cluster reset database is that it allows you to keep the same ip address and just wipe the config.

Yup, that "cluster reset-database" is what I was looking for.

In my case, I don't manage or have access to the VM environment, so rebuilding that is actually a lot more work (coordination) than just wiping the config.

    Thanks for the prompt replies!
