    I have my Clearpass infrastructure configured to accept machine and user certs and provide them different access/roles, but I don't know how to tell my GPO guys to use THEIR tool to make the client do that.

     

    Any pointers?

    In the 1X policy, you just need to make sure the EAP type is set to "smartcard or other certificate". The behavior defaults to computer then user.
