    Hi,

I'm testing remote connect to CPPM, I have admin account/password on CPPM, But I don't know appuser password to connect LOCAL SQL DB. (Just I can see in GUI, ●●●●●● )

How do I find my password? Is it possible to view plain-text in CPPM CLI?

To export known MAC-ADDRESS, I need to access CPPM tipsdb from remote LINUX box.

    Thanks.

You cannot use the appuser account. Try using the appexternal account. You can set the password under server configuration > cluster wide settings

    Thanks,

    Hi cappalli, Thanks very much.

I found password menu and success to connect my cppm from remote linux box.

But..appexternal have not permission to read tips_endpoints database........

I need to export mac_address from tips_endpoints database.

    Is it impossible from remote?

You'll want to use the Export All option under Configuration > Identity > Endpoints in the GUI. You can then use an XML to CSV utility.

    http://xmlgrid.net/xml2text.html

The tips_endpoints table does not contain all of the endpoint data.

    Hi cappalli, Thanks very much!

But I need to export in automated shell in LINUX box, I need to studying GUI menu from shell with curl or wget. :)

And I found 'mac' field in tips_endpoint_profiles which is read from appexternal account.

    What's this field?

I want to sync allowed MAC address across heterogeneous infra structure. If that 'mac' field is someting allowed MAC address in my main network, It's Ok to my mission.

    Very thanks.
