How to Clearpass generate Username

  • 1.  How to Clearpass generate Username

    I created new field (student id) and configure to random username on guest manager page but now I try to register new guest enter username as 1234. Clearpass not generate new username but it use 1234 in student id field as username 

     

    I want to use only username that clearpass generate. How I do that ?

    Are you able to post screenshots of your new field, guest manager and form configuration?

    This will help work out what is happening.

    Note : Username is filed that I created 

    Can I select what field is used as username of guest

    username is an inbuilt field so this is probably being pre-set to the randon username you configured in Guest Manager.

    Create a new field called studentid and add this to the form as well as the username and the user should then be able to enter their student id and the username is created randomly by Clearpass.
