    Hi, if connecting to same SSID, is it possible to set different authentication methods for 2 user group/devices? Please advise ,thanks in advance.

    Multiple EAP methods, yes. Different encryption types, no.

    Thanks for your kind reply.  Follow some cases:

    1. If want to authentication one user by mac address, and another user      is  802.1x, like this it isn't possible, right? 

    2. for one user, use 802.1x with AD user-id, and for another user, use 802.1x with AD computer-ID, like this can or not?

    1. You need two SSIDs
    2. Yes

    Based on your recent questions, you should really work with your Aruba ClearPass partner to build a design/solution.

    Thanks a lot. I am trying to understand clearpass first as the manual doesn't write very clear.
