Link device to service

    I created a Network>Device with name "XX001". 

     

    Can I use this device name in the service rules as a condition to filter the requests for this service? If yes, what is the Type and Name of the attribute?

     

    Or do you have to use NAS-identifier to identify the access device?

    You would use Connection: NAD-IP-Address EQUALS <device-IP>

    Thanks Tim. So you confirm there is no option to use the device name in the service rules right ?

    Correct. If you need to use text, you could add a custom attribute to the device.
