    Hello,

I am new here and hope to be a big part of the community. I am hoping that someone here can guide me through he process of authenticating a WLAN against the internal DB. I have been at this for a few days and have had no success. Is there something that already exists that I can follow?

I have a 7005 controller, 1 205 and 1 225 I am able to get both WLAN's working and in seperate VLAN's just cannot fiure out how to use internal DB for Authentication.

    Thank you

    Hello CJoseph,

Thanks for jumping in. I suppose it is 802.1x internal DB. I just want to create users on the controller since I do not have a radius server. I want to enter the username and password similar to the process in the instant version. Hope this helps.

Well gave it a go and no joy. I cannot connect. When I try with my tablet I get a wep prompt asking for a password. I am expecting a username and then password. What is the issue.

    8) Click the SSID profile > Basic tab > Select the WPA2 authentication with AES encryption> Apply.

Samsung tab s  I haven't looked at the cli. I have to come back to this later. Thanks for the help. Please stand by.

UPDATE: It seems to be working. It was the app that I was using not presenting the logon. I used the OEM Samsung Android version and I was persented with the correct athentication page.

    Thank you Colin
