I've managed to get onboarding working for Windows / iOS but having trouble with Android.
I get the application off the play store however when i click on the link to the profile, it simply downloads a file and doesn't open this within the QuickConnect app.
Something i'm doing wrong here or a bug perhaps?
Android version 4.1.2 Galaxy S2 tab.

Try to rerun the network settings profile and the provisioning profile so it makes a new file and see if that helps.
I would suggest that you open a TAC case to dig into the issue.

An update for anybody else looking at this problem.
TAC have confirmed the following:
The .networkconfig file is served from Onboard using the MIME type arubanetworks/networkconfig. Our QuickConnect application registers for this MIME type with the Android system. The Android native browser honors this MIME type association and correctly launches the application when the file is received. Non-native browsers are not able to do this.
We suggest you to use Android native browser to avoid this issue.
So Firefox can' t be used to onboard an android device.
